2/5/10:
It's Official --- as of last night...compared to Paul McCartney and Wings,
I now qualify for Paul Cotton and the "Wingin' It" Band!
A huge thank you to Jerry Jeff Walker, Mac McAnally, CW Colt, Howard Livingston and my '5 Minute Band' created to help out the Key West Parrot Heads and Joe Cleghorn for hosting Habitat for Humanity. Marty Stonely my Sax/Flute/Vocalist in PCB was on hand sitting in with Howard. In literally 5 minutes we threw together Marty, Jimmy the drummer, Rick Cleaver on bass and me to perform a couple of songs. We had a blast, and the crowd that braved the very cold and windy high 50's temps down here were grateful. Even Chuck and Patty visiting from Indiana got to catch the show. Chuck was a great 'roadie' with my Falcon.
This is ONE of the reasons I love my Island community ... there are so many talented musicians, and the best part is we/they all just want to make music, have fun, and bring smiles to others - Wow I am so lucky!
We'll try to post some pictures on the "Don't Stop the Carnival" tab of photos. This website is still on pause as it's being transferred, and it's never as smooth and fast as they proclaim... please hang in there with us, I'm just as frustrated with it.

Holy Winter Batman!!!
Here it comes again....... the weather dudes are predicting another blizzard for you folks up North. Please stay warm and safe. We are enjoying our beautiful tropical environment and I want to invite you one last time to join me and Kal David for the Illinois Speed Press Reunion Cruise. There have been even more new surprises added, and because of the response they have granted an extension as long as the space is available. How cool is that? You can still sign up, and forward the information to all your friends that are freezing and need a long weekend getaway to the sunny warm Caribbean. (It would an awesome surprise Valentine's persent:) We are all so excited for this most unique musical experience. The itinerary is set up to provide some good down time, without daily port calls.
